New Year New Year

So here we are at the end of another year. Its a great time for reflection and one where we it seems almost natural to ‘review’ various aspects of our lives – oh and of course its a time for resolutions.

Love them or hate them even if we don’t actually make any we will probably think about them. Like any sort of goal a resolution is an intention, a resolve and I think it is generally better if they are positive rather than negative. It seems much better to me to resolve to eat a more healthy diet than to give up eating cakes, to decide to look after our body rather than give up alcohol.

The type of change people want to achieve through resolutions can be very small or potentially life changing but as with any goal it will be easier to achieve if you follow these guidelines

Be specific

if you have several make one a priority

Remember change takes time – so stick with it and don’ expect overnight miracles

If you slip – don’t give up – every setback can be a springboard

Maintain motivation by getting support from friends and family and reminding yourself why this was a goal in the first place

One of the problems many people face when working towards change is that while at a conscious level they have set the intention their sub conscious may actually be working against them because of ideas beliefs and attitudes that limit them. This is where tapping can help.

So happy new year to everyone and enjoy the party and the process of making a resolution and if you need help to make sure you achieve it then get in touch and try tapping.

You only get one life make sure you live it the way YOU want.
