There is lots of evidence to show that individual tuition can help children and young people fulfil their potential.

There are lots of advantages with one to one tuition

  • there are no distractions,
  • sessions can be tailored to the particular students needs
  • there is no embarrassment about asking questions
  • no time spent sitting waiting for a teacher’s attention

Tuition session usually, though not necessarily, take place in the student’s home so learners feel relaxed and comfortable.

Whilst not a tuition agency we do offer high quality specialised tuition in the following areas

Maths - up to GCSE

Reading writing and spelling using phonics (sounds-write) this includes a free diagnostic test

If your child is falling behind with Reading or struggling with Phonics it is vital to get help for them as soon as possible - a child who struggles to read will find all subjects difficult to access.

English as a foreign (additional) language - all levels covered from elementary to advanced including preparation First Certificate and IELTs Exams

English languages courses can also be taken as immersive homestay courses contact us to find out more.

Pricing

Hourly rate varies on age and level but is usually £20/hour for Maths at Primary and £25 for Maths at Secondary

Sounds-Write is £35/ hour - discounts available for booking a 12 session course.

English if taught by the hour is £30/hour

Homestay weeks begin at £500 per week.
