For all those revising and studying hard – remember it is good to make a revision timetable – as it is also important that you have time off from study.

Half an hour of concentrated work is better than several hours simply staring at books – revision is active so try some of the following

  • make notes on what you are revising
  • make a mind map
  • put key points on post it notes
  • teach someone else (a willing parent for example) what you have just been revising
  • ask someone to question you about key facts you’ve just learned

When it is time off try not to think about work – it’s hard but if you can switch off you will be fresher when you return to work.
